Yvonne Lucas is a wonderful potter who incorporates Laguna
design elements with Hopi white-ware. Her pottery is very unique,
and always exceptional. It is fired in the traditional Hopi way -- and
beautiful smoke clouds are often found -- especially around the rim.
Yvonne is married to famed Hopi potter, Steve Lucas, and we think they
complement each other very nicely! This butterfly jar has just a hint of
mica in the deep red so typical of both Yvonne and Steve's work. It is in
mint condition, and has wonderful fire clouds.
